Bhangarh Fort is located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. A few kilometers away from this fort is the famous Sariska National Park. Bhangarh is protected from hills on three sides. It is a suitable place for the operation of any state in general terms. It is divided into parts for safety. So, today let’s discuss is Bhangarh fort safe to visit or not


Let’s Know Is Bhangarh Fort Safe To Visit:

First of all, there is a big ramp to which the hills on both sides have been connected. Hanuman ji is seated at the main gate of this rampart. After this the market starts, after the end of the market there is a Tripolia gate for the division of the palace complex. After this, the Raj Mahal is located. 

There are many temples in this fort, in which the temples of Lord Someshwar, Gopinath, Mangla Devi, and Keshav Rai are the main temples. The etching done on the walls and pillars of these temples can be gauged by how beautiful and grand this entire fort must have been. There is a Babri next to the Someshwar temple in which people from the surrounding villages still bathed.

  • The old town of Bhangarh was founded in the 16th century by the then Amer ruler Raja Bhagwan Das, who was later made the capital of the princely state of Madho Singh, brother of Mansingh.

  • Madho Singh was the Diwan in the court of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is said that all Bhangarh residents were killed in a fight with the neighboring state of Ajabgarh and since then Bhangarh is deserted.

  • It is said that the ghosts of the people killed in that battle still roam in the fort of Bhangarh tonight.

  • The main remains of Bhangarh are ancient gates, markets, Havelis, temples, palaces, chhatris, mausoleums, etc.
